I had the lucky job of babysitting for our friend’s Laurel & Brad this weekend while they were off doing the mud run at Camp Pendleton. Nixon is 2 years old and seriously the cutest, nicest, funniest little boy…I was sooo in love with him.
We had the best day playing cars, having a dance party, and going shopping at the farmers market.
There was one highlight of the day that is just too cute not to share. You see, I decided that Brad and Laurel deserved a treat for working so hard on their 10K so I got them a yummy cupcake from Sugar Blossom Bake Shop.
As you can imagine taking a 2 year old to a cupcake shop meant there was no way I was getting out of there without getting him one too. So he picked out the chocolate rainbow sprinkle cupcake and we headed home to eat it.
It was amazing to see the instantaneous effect the sugar had on his body, he went from being a normal little boy to a super silly and zany joker. It was pretty hysterical, he was in chocolate heaven.
