As some of you know by now my brother Dustin is finally home from the Army after serving 4 years. He couldn’t have planned better timing for his return than Memorial Day weekend, we were all feeling a wee bit patriotic. Our family missed Dustin a ton and we were excited to celebrate his return with a big party where he would be surrounded by friends and family. I took to the decorations and my Dad and Step-Mom took care of everything else.
First off I made a bunch of Printables, choosing Red, White, Blue and Black as the key colors.
I happen to own a lot of red, white, and blue accents so it all came together pretty easily. I went to Trader Joe’s for all the flowers, I picked up all the white ones I could find and some red roses too.
We ordered in Togos (which has amazing deals on party food, FYI) and had lots of snacks to munch on.
But you know all the kids just wanted to eat the sweets…
So happy he is home.
