I just reviewed another one of Jose Eber’s products this week and wanted to share with you all the fantastic results. Having unruly curly hair my whole life means that I have had a lot of experience using various straighteners. My biggest complaints have always been that it takes FOREVER and leaves my hair really dry and unhealthy looking (especially on the ends) from the heat damage. As a result I rarely use a straightener. So when Jose Eber asked me to try “The World’s Fastest Styling Iron” I was skeptical.
First of all it comes in some really fancy packaging touting all the great features of the product like how it heats up in just 5 seconds, uses negative ions for infrared heat, and eliminates frizz.
When I straightened my hair I started by making sure I applied some glossing cream right when I got out of the shower so it had time to soak in (I use this brand usually). Then I section off the hair and begin straightening in 3-4 inch sections.
The straightener had a temperature control dial that I started at 425 and actually turned down to 275 as I found that it worked so well I did not need the extra heat.
The result was fantastic! I straightened my hair in less than 15 minutes and did not feel like it was remotely fried. It looked smooth, soft and shiny. That is one thing I have noticed about using Jose Eber’s products, they really help to lock in the shine. I only had to pass the straightener through the hair one time, which helped expose it to less heat.
My other secret tip for straight shiny hair is to use a super fine mist hair spray when you are done to spray down any baby hairs. I do this on my part and on my ends. Be sure to angle the can pointing downward and just smooth the hair with your hands.
The result was stick straight hair.
