My Mom’s friend Shirley says that you have to wear a gold ring on your pinky to welcome good fortune into your life. I kinda think pinky rings are bad ass.
I have been on an inspiration board kick lately. There are just too many fun parties coming up filling my head with all kinds of ideas, the only release I have from this mess in my mind is to spit it out digitally on an inspiration board. Here are a few I made for a friends upcoming baby shower:

My best suggestion would be to make a bakest. For a baby shower I went to I bought a wicker bakest and filled it with -diapers (2 packs of size 2 and size 3 diapers cause you can never have enough) -wipes -little toys -clothes (2 outfits socks shoes etc) -bibs -a cute picture frame -baby book -piggy bank -blankets -gift card This is just an idea but the stuff listed above is reasonably prices and you can never have enough diapers wipes etc so I thought it would be nice and the bakest is something the person can use for other things like storing toys etc. hope this helps good luck
